Welcome
Julian Washburn was a four-year varsity starter at Kimball and Duncanville High Schools before continuing his basketball career at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) under Coach Tim Floyd. During his time at UTEP, Washburn was recognized as the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year, earned All-Freshman Team honors, and was named to the Second-Team All-Conference.
Following his standout collegiate career, Washburn joined the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League, where he played a key role as a starter in the team’s 2018 G League Championship run. He later gained NBA experience with the Memphis Grizzlies, playing alongside stars Mike Conley and Marc Gasol.
Washburn’s professional career has also taken him overseas, with stints for the Tübingen Tigers (Germany), Canterbury Rams (New Zealand), Hoop Club Lebanon, and the London Lions (UK).
Chris Washburn Jr. is a Former UTEP and TCU standout (2017 NIT Champion). Versatile forward with a high-level scoring, rebounding, playmaking, defensive skill set. Brings Division I expertise and 7 years of professional experience. Also attended South Grand Prairie HS, where he was named All‑State 5A, All‑Region 5A, and District 5‑5A MVP senior year. McDonald’s All‑American nominee. Rivals top 120 recruit.
